Co-Founder Diane Cohen Moves On After twenty good years and many invaluable contributions to Partners, Diane Cohen has moved on to pursue new interests. As a Partners' Co-Founder and Co-Director for many years, Diane and I worked hand-in-hand for close to two decades. We created a case for what was then a new cause and attracted an array of leaders and supporters who continue to this day to serve Partners well. Diane built many relationships with funders and individuals, as well as with organizations that have become strong collaborators in Partners' work. Together we steered the organization through a natural evolution of programs and projects, always inspired by the congregations, historic preservation and community-based organziations, and other leaders and advocates who shared our goal of sustaining the nation's historic sacred places. Community Events

Partners participated in the citywide preservation conference organized by the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia on Friday, May 15, 2009. More information about the event, "A Sense of Place: Preserving Philadelphia Neighborhoods," is available here.

The Philadelphia Office co-hosted the Sacred Places Mural Arts Tour Series in the spring of 2008.

Partners' Philadelphia Regional Fund for Sacred Places co-sponsored a mayoral forum in Philadelphia's Old City with the Gesu Institute, the Robert Fox Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Program for Research on Religion and Urban Civil Society at the University of Pennsylvania.
