The stories on this page are past projects exploring various ways that congregations with space to share, and arts organizations in need of space, can build sustainable partnerships that bring vitality and a sense of community to historic religious properties. Making Homes for the Arts in Sacred Places program (AiSP) has tackled research, adaptive reuse, and program expansion in new communities – all with wonderful partners in every community we have served. We hope these past projects can serve as both a model and inspiration for future collaborations between congregations and their surrounding communities across the country.
