Dear Friends of Partners for Sacred Places,

We are thinking about and praying for all the leaders and communities we serve, and are aware that strength, mutual support and hope is required of all of us in the coming months.

We also know that congregations, though they may have largely exited their buildings for now, continue to find ways to care for their members and their communities. Here at Partners, while our offices in Philadelphia and Chicago are closed, our staff is working from home and we remain committed to helping congregations make the most of their physical and human assets, which will be needed more than ever as they find new ways to serve people in need without endangering their members and staff.

Although “social distancing” is the rule right now, we know the time will come when sacred places are active and full once again. We have full confidence that they will remain places that are trusted, affordable and welcoming — where the arts are celebrated, where human needs are met, and where people come together to worship, fellowship and serve.

Of course we need your support and encouragement this year, as always. If you have thoughts or ideas on how we can live out our mission in new and innovative ways, please let us know! Our phones are rerouting calls to employees working remotely, and we are still receiving mail via the postal services, but not other delivery services.

We are thinking of you, and hope you will think of us.
